script and director submission

To be eligible, new works must be previously unproduced and unpublished and run between 10 and 90 minutes. For the purposes of this festival, a "production" is defined as a theatrical run including technical elements and does not include workshops or festivals.
4-8 scripts will be accepted to the festival, with the number of slots dependent on the total runtime of selected works.
TV Pilots and screenplays are eligible if they meet all other requirements.
Playwrights do not need to be based in NYC, but they must be willing to attend rehearsals for their piece in person or via Zoom. We are not able to provide housing for artists at this time.
You may attach a director OR one cast member to your piece; however, they must also complete the appropriate application for their role.
There is no fee to apply or participate; however, you will have the option to donate to support PK Productions at the end of the form. Your decision to donate will not impact your application!
